• Payment information: When you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number. We receive and store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status.
• Coupon codes: If you use a coupon code at registration, we store that code on your account record.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage data: We store your quiz session history, scores, answers, and progress across domains. This data is used to power your personal dashboard and weak domain analysis.
• Question flags: If you flag a question for review, we store the question ID, your reason, and any notes you provide.
• Server logs: Our web server may log IP addresses, browser types, and pages visited for security and performance purposes. These logs are not linked to your account and are retained for a limited period.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your account
• Process subscription payments and manage billing
• Provide your personalized dashboard, progress tracking, and weak domain analysis
• Send transactional emails such as password reset links
• Respond to your support requests
• Improve the quality of our question bank (via flagged question reviews)
• Maintain the security and integrity of the Site

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your information for advertising purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Stripe: Payment processing. Your payment information is transmitted directly to Stripe and governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Resend: Transactional email delivery (password reset emails). Your email address is transmitted to Resend solely for the purpose of delivering emails you request. Governed by Resend's Privacy Policy.
• DigitalOcean: Cloud hosting. Our servers and database are hosted on DigitalOcean infrastructure in the United States.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and usage data for as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or financial record-keeping purposes.

Password reset tokens expire within 1 hour of generation and are invalidated upon use.

5. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information:

• All data is transmitted over HTTPS (TLS encryption)
• Passwords are hashed using bcrypt before storage
• Authentication uses signed JWT tokens with expiration
• Database access is restricted to the application server

You have the right to:

• Access: Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you
• Correction: Update your display name and email through your profile page
